Create a host Roku account and set a PIN
The account owns the device; the PIN stops guests from buying channels or changing settings. Use an email you check.
Open Settings › System › Guest Mode
On a Roku TV or streaming stick, Guest Mode lives under System settings. Turn it on and enter your PIN.
Set the default auto sign-out
Guest Mode asks guests for a checkout date when they sign in; set a fallback so anyone who skips it is still signed out.
Add the free channels you want pre-loaded
Local news, a free ad-supported movie app, and the platforms guests most often bring. Everything else they add themselves.
