Where the picks come from.

Each pick is the standard-tier winner of our full comparison for that item, scored on durability across guest stays, cleanability, guest delight, and value. The Options link on a row opens the comparison with the budget and premium alternatives. Our methodology explains the scoring; the starter kit covers furniture and the rest of the room.

Common questions.

What do I need to stock an Airbnb?

Per bed: a waterproof protector, three sheet sets, four pillows, a duvet with three covers, and blackout curtains. Per bathroom: towels at two per guest plus spares, a bath mat, a dispenser set, and a hair dryer. Kitchen: cookware, dinnerware and glasses at capacity plus two, flatware, a chef's knife, and a dual-format coffee maker. Then a smart lock, mesh WiFi, a Roku TV, a noise monitor, the cleaning kit, and safety gear. This checklist lists all of it with quantities for your layout.

How many towels and sheets does an Airbnb need?

Three sheet sets per bed and two bath towels per guest plus two spares, so one set is on the bed, one is in the wash, and one is staged for the next turnover. Hand towels go four per bathroom and washcloths two per guest. Our linen par levels guide explains the rotation.

Is my checklist progress saved?

Yes, in your browser. Come back on the same device and browser and the checked items and your bedroom, bathroom, and guest counts are still there. Nothing is sent to us. Print it if you want a copy for a shopping trip.

Why one pick per item instead of a comparison?

Because most hosts stocking a property want to be done, not to deliberate. Each pick is the option that won our full comparison for the standard tier. The Options link on each row opens that comparison if you want the budget or premium alternative.
